Book 6 of Torpedo Ink is Savage's story. He is into BDSM and spends time telling his girlfriend how she will “learn to like it." I don't see why there is any reason to learn to like something that causes pain. Too much inner dialogue from Seychelle really took me out of the story. It is all her justifying why she loves Savage to herself. I understand that book 7 follows their story and gets heavily into the BDSM. I think I will skip that book.

Look - it wasn‘t as bad as the previous book, but it wasn‘t great. It‘s also only book 1 in a duet and it really doesn‘t need to be. I feel like she‘s just trying too hard to write dark romance and it‘s not working for me. There‘s so much inner dialogue and wishy-washy feelings that I was just annoyed by the end of the book and I really don‘t know if I‘ll pick up the next book.
