Pickpick

Kate is hired to accompany a singer and her friend to observe the 1927 solar eclipse. The friend is found in a coma and later dies. Was it murder or an accidental overdose?

Issues of self-medication for PTSD combine with a distinct Phantom of the Opera vibe to make this an enjoyable detective story.

Mehso-so

This is one of her best books in my opinion, Mrs Shackleton is asked my famous singer Selina Fellini, to accompany her on a trip. It seems there is more to this than meets the eye. Other members of the theatre troupe died in strange circumstances. Kate ends up investigating it all. I didn't think it was a strong story this time.
