I'd like to know more about art and artists so have bought this one today. Can any Littens recommend other biographies of artists? (can use any type of material - so can include photos and sculpture as well!)
Vansa Andrew Graham-Dixon's biography of Caravaggio is spectacular.Priya Parmar's Vanessa and her sister,on one of my favourite artists Vanessa Bell is excellent.Y0u must have already read The agony and the ecstasy,if you haven't,it's lovely.Somerset Maugham's The moon and sixpence fictionalises Gauguin's life and is great. 3y
