pickI found this engaging even if it didn‘t live up to its title. The focus was almost solely on the competition in the 2004 season and some of the behind the scenes happenings in the PBR. That was enough for me especially with the theme being a wily old veteran vs a pack of upstarts. The book didn‘t delve much into the subculture around the sport in terms of quirky fans, groupies, or questionable food. Respect to the riders who are tough as hell!

JoeMo That sounds awesome…I think that was the one bit of the country western culture my grandfather wasn‘t into. We would sit around watching the Grand Ole Opry and shows like Hee Haw all day!!😂 3y
