Why is Health Care So Damned Expensive, and Is There A Solution?
Why is Health Care So Damned Expensive, and Is There A Solution?: A doctor's essay on free market health care solutions | Todd Rice MD
1 post | 1 read
Just why, exactly, is health care so expensive? Todd Rice, a practicing physician, shares his frustrations and insights about the third party payor system and government interventions that have distorted the natural economic incentives to control costs and quality. He offers free market solutions, as opposed to the ever-increasing government intrusions and mandates that are so popular today. This essay is an easy read and full of basic, common sense principles that encourage individuals to take charge of their own health, their health care dollars and the relationship that they have (or could have) with their physicians.

GingerAntics Yes it‘s possible, as every first world country but this one has managed to do it, AND those countries all offered to give it to Americans after WWII for coming to the rescue, but congress turned them down. Seems like that should have been voted on by the people but whatever. 4y
