Born into an elite family in one of the Republic's wealthiest districts, fifteen-year-old June is a military prodigy. Born into the slums of the Republic’s Lake Sector, fifteen-year-old Day is the country’s most wanted criminal. But his motives are not as sinister as they often they seem. One day June’s brother is murdered and Day becomes the prime suspect. Now, Day is in a race for his family’s survival, while June tries desperately to avenge her brother’s death. And the two uncover the truth of what has really brought them together and the lengths their country will go to in order to keep its secrets.

I thought this was a really nice condensed version of the original story. It definitely made me want to re read the book to get a more detailed look into the full story, but maybe that's the point of a graphic novel, to entice readers into reading the full story. I thought the art was incredible as well!

I was going to try to read these gns instead of re-reading the books before reading Rebel, but they skip over too much.

I thought this book was so so because there were some really interesting parts and some boring parts.I think is was a good quick read and think it will be good for people that like comics and action. I did have a favourite character I thought they were all interesting. The pictures we‘re really good and comics.

This book is a adventure thriller about action, romantic comedy im not a romantic person but mixed with the comedy its perfect for me! As soon as the book starts with a fight against the "system" and it continues through out the whole trilogy its a real page turner! If you dont like the grapic novel they have a chapter trilogy too!

MissYaremcio Well done Shawn! I am impressed with this review! I have heard many good things about the series and I might have to read it now... Make sure that when you are doing the Litsy assignments that you include all aspects of the assignment (you were missing the tone and “if you like books that“). 5y

I liked it and would read more, though some of it was predictable.

👑Good afternoon. Any who, I'm having an okay day. I'm really hating spring and this is my first time in a long time doing Daylight Savings and its killing me physically and mentally. In addition, I hope you all have a great Friday. I finished The Legend Graphic noI wanted a quick read to wrap up March, since I'm a little behind on my TBR this month. Reading The Prince and the Dressmaker now.

One of my favorite series in graphic novels! Marie Lu is an absolute favorite of mine and seeing her is always such a delight. Also got the first signed copy of Champion during LA Times Festival of Books!! 🤗
