Actually, never mind - I found some more books and I don‘t have any stilts - so my illusion is shattered... 😭🥳

Just realised that I have to wear heels to keep up the illusion that my *new books in lockdown* stack is *only* at knee height 🤔

#currentlyreading #judging #mystery #thriller #missingteenager Didn‘t get to this #loveozYA novel when it came out in April, but judging is giving me the opportunity to catch it. Plus #ferns who are happy with the rain we had overnight.

I pre-ordered a finished copy of Deep Water (and another book) at the end of March. the bookshop let me know that they would send out my whole order once stock arrived. My other book arrived a couple weeks later. I assume Deep Water didn‘t arrive in time from the distributor as the bookshop is now closed. Don‘t blame them at all, but wish I could confirm it will be waiting for me when they reopen and wasn‘t lost by auspost.

Deep Water is an excellent mystery, full of twisty uncertainty, compelling characters and is beautifully written. An extremely satisfying reading experience.
