Panpan

A very kind therapist friend gifted me this book a few months ago. I hate to pan it….but. It‘s a book about how we can as individuals and communities better deal with, channel grief. I‘ve had a whopper of a few years in that department. I appreciated the first 2 chapters or so. I would have liked to have read a long form essay. But the book is repetitive and just to “woo-woo” for me.

SamAnne In particular, I find it uncomfortable at best, offensive at times, when whites people adopt Indigenous rituals, ceremonies when they haven‘t been invited in. Sure, we all come from some ancient indigenous people, but I feel Weller really crosses the line. 2y
