Christian Gorman is the sexiest guy Jessica has ever laid eyes on. Now that he's teaching her how to surf, they're not only catching waves, they're falling in love. And sneaking around behind her boyfriend Ken Matthew's back is dangerously exciting. But there's something about Christian that Jessica doesn't know. He's the leader of Palisade High's most violent gang.

Now this is getting back to the normal vibe of the SVH series! Jess is learning how to surf and falling in love as usual. Liz finds out about a problem and is trying to fix it before disaster strikes. Both stories converge at the end to leave us in a somewhat predictable cliffhanger to set up the next book. Who will win the high school wars?? ❤️ 😆

The next Sweet Valley miniseries was one of my favorites growing up. Lila bets Jessica that she can‘t learn how to surf well enough to win a surfing competition next month. Deciding to prove her wrong, she gets up at the crack of dawn to go to the beach and practice, where she meets a gorgeous stranger. His name is Christian and he offers to give her surfing lessons. Jess is still dating Ken but sees no problem with making out with Christian on ⬇️

JenlovesJT47 Several occasions. Are we surprised at this point? The Wakefield twins, cheaters? Of course not! 🙄 Meanwhile, a rivalry heats up between SVH and Palisades High, after Palisades plays dirty injuring some star football players. The guys decide to start a guys only club to plot their revenge against Palisades. Of course, Saint Elizabeth decides it‘s the perfect time to team up with 2 girls from Palisades and throw a joint SVH/Palisades dance, ⬇️ 4y
JenlovesJT47 Oblivious to the mounting tension between the schools. Once she figures this out, it‘s too late to stop the dance. Both sets of guys show up at the dance to start trouble, and the book ends with Jessica finding Ken all bloodied on the ground while all the guys are fighting, and comes face-to-face with Christian, the leader of the Palisades gang. Oh noes, what will she do! 😱 I enjoyed this but realize the ridiculousness of the plot. On to book 2! 4y
Clare-Dragonfly You mean it didn‘t turn into a dance competition when they found themselves forced to attend a dance? 😱 4y
JenlovesJT47 Alas, it did not! 😂🤣😅 It won‘t let me tag you Clare! 4y
