I thought I was going to be able to finish this book on my camping trip; I still have a little over 100 pages! 😢🤣 Camping with a toddler is not relaxing!

This book is a great mix of historical fiction and magical realism. It took me a bit to get into all the characters, but once it fell into shape I really enjoyed all the connections.

Just started the first chapter, one of the characters is a nurse aide like me; and something scary and weird happens to her! I‘m hooked!
