Yesterday was a pain day and today‘s shaping up to be the same. Blah.
At least I‘ve gotten a lot of reading done. I‘m about 2/3 through THE ILLUSIONISTS, and I‘m really enjoying it. It feels good to wallow in a big, theatrical historical novel.
This turned into a marvelous read!!! Enjoyed it so very much! 😎😎😎

so-soWhat an odd book. At turns dark, at turns whimsical. Some pure romance, some twisted. Characters alternately admirable and weak. I almost threw it across the room at one point. Really not sure if I want to engage the sequel.
so-soDon't judge a book by its cover. I picked this up thinking it would be a fun book with a little of everything...mystery, romance, magic....But it turned out darker and more serious than I expected.
