I could have loved this more with a different narrator. I also could have loved it more if there wasn't so much time between books...I had more or less forgotten what happened in book #2. I tried not to let the narration influence my rating too significantly since overall this was completely unexpected, and ultimately fulfilling because it ended rather perfectly.

This 3rd book of the Diabolic trilogy was worth the wait. Politics, intrigue, deception, romance - it had all the elements that made the first two such great reads! Very satisfying conclusion to the saga!

I have been waiting for 3 years for this book and it did not disappoint! I was angry, happy, frustrated and satisfied...all qualities of a good book. Thrust and Nemisis are a frustratingly compelling and complex couple. I am glad to have a final conclusion on this story.

I needed to take a break from reading because of an issue that I was having with the mail. Needless to say that issue is fixed. Now I‘m reading this book. I do need to finish Midnight Sun and I will. However, I‘ve been waiting patiently for three years for this release and it does not disappoint. #sjkincaid #midnightsun
