I helped hubby teach a class for master gardener students in another county last week, and they were using this as a text. I thought it looked good and ordered it. I just started reading through it and discovered that one section was written by a dear friend who passed away a couple years ago. 💔

Butterfinger What a neat coincidence. I bet it was a bittersweet moment. 4y
Lindy I hope seeing your friend‘s name has brought a flood of good memories. Incidentally, I helped with a Master Gardener class a couple of years ago too, when my friend needed a knowledgeable second person to help students with soil experiments. 4y
ValerieAndBooks Aww. A good way to remember your friend by 💖 4y

Tracyantoon I live in Central Florida and have been looking for a good book on landscaping and gardening. I will have to check this out. Thanks! 4y
Lynnsoprano @Tracyantoon I think this would be a big help. It‘s a UF publication, but I found it on Amazon. I have some other books more geared to which individual plants to use, so if you need more recommendations, let me know. I‘m a master gardener and hubby is retired UF agriculture faculty. 4y
Lynnsoprano @Lindy I was helping with the hands on, trying to identify plant disease symptoms. Hubby laughs that I‘ve sat through so many of these presentations, I could probably give the class myself. 4y
Lynnsoprano @ValerieAndBooks @Butterfinger @Lindy It brought back so many wonderful memories. He was my husband‘s colleague, and his wife was a librarian. The copy of Goodnight Moon that I now read to my grandkids was a gift from them to our son. 4y
