This is the fifth book in the series and finally humanity has decided it is time to be proactive instead of reactive. Even if a little bit over confident considering that the Lankies usually end up handing everyone their collective asses on a plate.

The series is now leaning more and more towards a space opera than pure military Sci-Fi. Nothing wrong with that, just stating a fact. Personally I actually like that we get more plot....

TheSpineView ... character development instead of just one battle after another. I like the mix of both and the books are better for it. Not sure why more Sci-Fi fans have not found this series. It should be on their radar. 5⭐
