Second time through this book, and it was even better this time around! Having read Ghosts of Greenglass House recently made a big difference in keeping characters straight. Now my #bookspin for December is done, AND I finally got a #bookspinbingo too!

Another amazing installment of the Greenglass House series (the only one I haven‘t loved is Bluecrowne, which was still good). I recommend reading soon after Ghosts of Greenglass House, because I didn‘t and a lot of characters would have been easier to parse if I had.

Marzana leads her friends on an adventure to find a kidnapped girl and discover even more than they bargained for.

10 for #15Books15Weeks, 20/20 #bookspinbonanza after the fact

I only made it about 1/3 through the tagged book, but I still completed 19/20 for #bookspinbonanza! Great challenge Sarah! I‘m not going to do June‘s #bookspin as I have stuff going on at home and library SRP to work around, but I should be back in July!

With 22 books and 5425 pages read, May has been my best reading month this year by far. Brings me to 85 books and 20,680 pages for the year.

TheSpineView Awesome! 🥳🥳🥳 4y
TheAromaofBooks That is fabulous progress!!! I'll keep you on the tag list for July!!! 4y

Diving into this one, finally! It‘s my last for #bookspinbonanza but I doubt I‘ll finish it by the end of tomorrow. More likely it‘ll be my first of June. Just a few pages in, though, and I‘m already wishing Ghosts of Greenglass House was fresher in my mind. I think I‘ll be doing a series reread later this year. And I still need Left-Handed Fate.

I enjoy the world in which this series of books is set. All the books have gorgeous covers, but this one is by far my favorite cover of the series. The story was good, but I really felt the length of it; it took a really long time to get through the set up and get the story off the ground. The second half of the book moved at a much better pace and was more interesting.

Patchshank That is a beautiful cover 😍 4y

I preordered and got this great artwork to pair with The Thief Knot. Now I have two Milford maps on my library wall and it makes me so happy!

Kate Milford‘s Nagspeake books just keep getting better. The world-building that began in Greenglass House continues with this latest entry featuring characters introduced in The Ghosts of Greenglass House last year. Some people find these books slow, but I thoroughly enjoy them. They remind me a bit of John Bellairs, but without the horror. Out January 14.

ImperfectCJ We were just planning a re-read of Greenglass House over the holiday break! Definitely a Christmastime book. I actually didn't know it was a series until your post! I have The Ghosts of Greenglass House on hold now... maybe my kids and I will make it a marathon! (This appears to be the fourth, after Bluecrowne.) 4y
LibrarianRyan @ImperfectCJ Four does sound right now that you say that. these have been on my list forever. 4y
