This book is about two friends in a nursing home. They have their schedules and everything is good. Until.....

One day this young girl bursts in the window with claims she is Carl‘s long lost granddaughter. Duffy isn‘t so sure about this girl. She needs a place to stay, so she winds up staying in the assisted living.

Poignant, real, charming, easy-to-read.

This was a delightful read, character driven novel written in the first person from the perspective of Duffy. He lives in The Centennial Assisted Living Home with his friend Carl. They receive a surprise guest by the name of Josie. Josie adds the details necessary for the main characters to question their life, and life choices. She brings them together helping them along their life path of destiny.
