100 Things to Know about Science
100 Things to Know about Science | Alex Frith
6 posts | 2 read | 1 to read
Science is a huge topic, but this friendly book breaks it down into bite-sized chunks, making it an accessible introduction for anyone who wants to find out about this fascinating subject. Highly illustrated, in a pictorial, 'infographics' style, with snippets of information about all aspects of science from particle physics to genes and DNA.

My youngest daughter loves science and showed me some pages in her new book. We ended up reading the whole book together and finished it in a day! So engaging and fascinating . Full of facts and colourful infographics from the Earth‘s magnetic poles to spider venom and black holes. One interesting point to note is many women scientists were over looked and didn‘t revive accolades or recognition until after their death.

kezzlou85 My eldest loves her Science and she noticed how little women scientists were recognised in their own lifetime 4y
Cupcake12 I‘ve just finished The Matilda Effect which is a middle grade book. The story is a real eye opening but suitable for younger children xx 4y
