pickGreat 'YA book with a purpose'. The MC always knew she'd need a liver transplant... someday. She just didn't expect someday to arrive her senior year of high school. Mad props to the author - totally didn't see the ending coming! (On a side note, I met this once author years ago before she was published and she wrote MG fiction, and she was so incredibly nice and friendly! So happy for her success!)
pickI was hoping that this book wasn't going to break my heart but it did. Amelia is a high school student living her life. When a liver disease that she has had her whole life flares up and changes her whole life. Will she be able to get a new liver in time? She wonders how this will effect the plans that she has for after high school. The pages of this book just flew by.
4.6 🌟 read. Amelia is plucky and strong even though she was born with blood/liver problems. No recurring problems until senior year and next thing she knows, she‘s on the organ transplant list. The MCs, best friends, are endearing and their banter is hilarious.
