Heading to San Francisco tomorrow with the hubs. He‘s there for business and we‘ll be participating in the AIDS walk on Sunday. We already booked a tour of Alcatraz for Saturday but I‘ll be on my own all of Friday. What are some absolute must see places? Our hotel is in Union Square, any independent and/or used bookstores within walking distance? 🌁🌉💕

SheilaChew Dragon gate in Chinatown (you are very close) , Pier 39, Ghirardelli Square. And ride the trolley car! 5y
SheilaChew The Japanese Tea Gardens in Golden Gate Park are so beautiful, but you would need to get an Uber because its pretty far from where you are staying. 5y
TheBookHippie I visit Haight Ashbury when I‘m there -tons of lovely bookstores there! Green Apple Books and Booksmith and boundtogether are my personal favorites 5y
