Mehso-so

This book felt like eating a bar of passable chocolate late at night, good while it lasts but afterwards I regret staying up late with empty calories.

I read the whole book in one sitting, I knew where it was going, saw THE plot twist right in the prologue, but insomnia made me read the whole thing.

Now I wish I had made myself some herbal tea and tried to find sleep.

Was a #NetGalley #ARC

Palimpsest Haha! I love your comparison!😊 5y

As much as I appreciated the 'Sliding Doors' nature of the story, with someone desperate to know what if they had made a different choice in their life, the main character really put me off. Very self absorbed and ultimately quite whiney, sadly. She needed a good shake and a reality check. And the guy!!! The rockstar she could have dated. The guy was an egocentric buffoon!!! Not my cup of tea, I'm afraid. I like my heroines with a more gumption.
