If I were handing this to a library patron I would say: "you'll have to let me know what you think" instead of recommending it. This was like reading under a strobe light with bits and pieces flashing out: there's a knife and then there's not, a key, a dog ... people are met, sometimes named, often not. It was so bizarre and weird I wanted to find out what happened...and I'm still not sure. ? I wanted humor or a conflicted vampire. Sadly no. ☹️

I am so excited for this book, I actually purred when I opened the package. A novel about a woman whose boyfriend claims to be the real Dracula, but is probably just an unhinged UPS driver with a night shift?? YES PLEASE. 🖤⚰️☠️
