5⭐️!!! Such a wonderful book! Loved how Watson and Shelby were very similar to their classic counterparts in the classic novel, and how Eulberg threw in jokes regarding the Sherlock series and Benedict Cumberbatch's name 😂. Bluebonnet and letter G ✅

•"The mean reds are terrible. Suddenly you are afraid& you don't know what you are afraid of. Do you ever get that feeling?" Breakfast at Tiffany's • Today was one of those awful days that seem to strike once a full moon. Work was absolutely dreadful ( which NEVER happens), haven't gotten much sleep the last week because of nightmares,&nearly got into what would have been a serious car wreck right in front of my house...(last sentence in comment)

THE GREAT SHELBY HOLMES--a Sherlock MG retelling so cute that even Moriarty is pawsitively hounding me for a copy! Seriously, Shelby Holmes and John Watson are so much fun. Little me would have loved this book, and grown me is filled with warm fuzzies!

Cute rework of Sherlock Holmes. John Watson moves to NYC with his mother and his new neighbor at 221 Baker Street is a bit odd. She can figure out a lot about them after first meeting them, but because John knows no one his own age, he begins to hang with her. I think, like Sherlock Holmes, kids will be intrigued as to how she figures things out. Will get this one for my class. (Middle grade)

Reading this cute version of Sherlock Holmes to see whether it's appropriate for my class.
