Cafe con Libros | Brooklyn, NY (Bookstore)

Hanging at my favourite local independent bookstore and picking up my copy of Our Wives Under the Sea for the august #CampLitsy read! The bookstore didn‘t originally stock it but they liked it when I ordered it so now they do!

I ended up skipping This Time Tomorrow, partly due to lack of reading time, partly because I wasn‘t as interested in it and I have something else on the go. Let me know if I should rethink that and read it fellow campers!

We finally had a day warm enough to eat outside! And some daffodils are blooming! So I took a walk to the place with the best breakfast sandwich for the first time in months. And coincidentally it happens to be three blocks from Cafe con Libros.....

Liz_M @BarbaraBB NYC would be unbearable without restaurants open for takeout and outdoor dining. I need somewhere to get away from my teeny tiny apartment for an hour or so. And I am so grateful for bookstores with social distanced browsing or curbside pickup. 3y

BarbaraBB In Amsterdam restaurants and cafes are open for takeaway but not for outdoor dining. With spring arriving this is becoming unbearable. People seek their refuge in parks which the authorities then close because it‘s too busy there. It‘s ridiculous. Shops are open on appointment and for pickup too. Can‘t wait for it all to be over! 3y

One of my weekend exercise ideas -- maybe the only way to get me to exercise regularly -- is to walk to independent bookstores. Cafe con libris might be the second closest to my house. They have awesome bookclub picks and a very small, carefully curated selection and good coffee.

Aimeesue Habit bundling (reward of something you really like ONLY IF you complete something you don't like so much) can be super effective! Especially when books are involved. 😄 4y
