WOW... I loved all these crazy characters mainly because they were so flawed and dramatic. Joe Henry has passed on and Doris, David and Scott are to take a trip to New York York a memorial service and then to Maine to scatter Joe's ashes. They all bring so much more baggage than they bargained for and predictably, chaos ensues. ❤ Beautiful prose, lovely descriptions!

Really feeling this deep in my gut... these weird, broken people are so familiar it hurts!

Reggie Have you read his other one- I tagged it. The woman in there, my gut hurt for her through that whole book. I have this one, just need to get to it. 2y

Rather than trying to decide what I want to listen to, I decided to go to the earliest addition on my Libby list & go from there!

I enjoyed this book but also found it a bit wordy. I also wanted to slap these boys and tell them to grow up. None of these folk were very likable to me.

This audiobook is a really good one. Noah Hawley‘s The Punch reminds me of this year‘s Pulitzer winner, Less by Andrew Sean Greer. The writing is crisp and clever, but the narrator is key here because he helps this above average story reach its full potential in audio format. He was phenomenal. Overall rating: 4.27 stars
