Riveted_Reader_Melissa @BarbaraTheBibliophage I bet the event planners are loving saving the expenses in renting convention centers, etc, etc...same event, all that overhead gone. 4y
BarbaraTheBibliophage @Riveted_Reader_Melissa This one is held in a park, so I guess the city just pays itself. But yes, it must be less expensive to produce an online event. I wonder how the convention centers will survive. Of course, Javitz in NYC probably got paid by the state for the hospital being there. But the smaller spots ... hope they survive. 4y
Riveted_Reader_Melissa @BarbaraTheBibliophage I know, the introvert in me wishes I was alone, or that we could go back to normal so I can be alone in the house for awhile.... but I know I‘d miss them if I was alone all this time. I guess I finally understand that “she shed” commercial and I need one to hide out in sometimes. 😉 4y
BarbaraTheBibliophage @Riveted_Reader_Melissa Seriously. Mr. B is our grocery shopper and I kind of treasure being alone while he‘s out. Our house isn‘t big, but we do migrate to separate parts of it most of the time. He‘s in the man cave. LOL. I‘m everywhere else. 🤪 4y
