so-soSolidly mediocre. I understand that the author was trying to show that you don't have to throw away all fun to be successful, but she started going the other extreme and giving up on dreams after knowing a boy for a few weeks. Perhaps this is the moment I know I'm aging out of YA when I connect more with the parents and think they weren't tough enough with her. It also ended so abruptly.
