I woke up (since I work nights, this is my "2 AM") and checked my Litsy feed to help me get back to sleep. That didn't work so well, because the next thing I know, I'm digging around looking for #cursive writing on my books. I have more than I thought, and all within 6 feet of my bed. And now, back to bed ?BTW, all of these are still in the TBR jar. #Fallintobooks

I liked it enough to want to give it more than 3/5 but not enough for 4/5...it was a nice little read with some very pretty lines.

Very enjoyable literary thriller. Miette's parts forces the reader to shift through dream, memory, and reality, much like the enigmatic history of Calamity Jane herself. Beautiful lines of prose make this revisionist western novel a standout in the genre. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
