so-soI know this book has gotten lots of Litsy love, but it just did not do it for me. I found it choppy, and overall very flat. It felt like reading a soap opera, and not in a good way. Way too many love at first site male characters who were unrealistically gushy. The main character seemed so flighty, I could not connect with her at all. It was also a little heavy handed on religion. It was fast, easy fluff. Not horrible, but extremely forgettable.

pickA southern summery feel-good novel. The story unfolds as told through a grandmother and her granddaughter; their relationships and how a family can survive even through the most difficult parts of life.
