Mississippi Jack
Mississippi Jack: Being an Account of the Further Waterborne Adventures of Jacky Faber, Midshipman, Fine Lady, and Lily of the West | L. A. Meyer
4 posts | 21 read | 2 to read
The intrepid Jacky Faber, having once again eluded British authorities, heads west, hoping that no one will recognize her in the wilds of America. There she tricks the tall-tale hero Mike Fink out of his flatboat, equips it as a floating casino-showboat, and heads south to New Orleans, battling murderous bandits, British soldiers, and other scoundrels along the way. Will Jacky's carelessness and impulsive actions ultimately cause her beloved Jaimy to be left in her wake?

I just finished my first #scarathlon2020 book which isn‘t even horror lol! But it‘s part of the Bloody Jack series! And my first book for the #cyoreadathon

8.5 hours down!
I love this series so much and am rereading them with a friend - two each month. Her first time and I love seeing her reaction at all of the crazy happenings! @StayCurious #teamharkness

Read the first four in a row. After a couple of weeks I missed the characters and had to get reading on book five.

This was one of my absolute favorite books/series growing up. Such that, when the author passed away, I was truly heartbroken. If you love adventure, history, and sassy heroines you are in for a treat. https://thebookwench.com/2015/11/18/featured-favorites-the-bloody-jack-series-by...
