I am in love. I have to find a copy of this book for my own collection. it is illustrated by my favorite kids artist EVER David Catrow. So you know it‘s going to be funny. The story is in the pattern of Night before Christmas, but Santa has been punched out and his understudy, Murray from the diner must take over. This is a laugh out loud riot of a read that will become a new holiday tradition

LibrarianRyan So good. I believe it‘s out of print so I‘m going to go thrift hunting. I also feed to find a new copy of Robot Santa (mine was destroyed in a basement flood) which is the sequel to One of my must read every year. It‘s Koontz so it‘s a bit dark but still good for kids with a happy feel good ending.
