Pickpick

This book of poems is very descriptive and gives the reader time to think about and imagine what is going on in each poem.

“The wind begun to rock the grass
With threatening tunes and low, -
He flung a menace at the earth,
A menace at the sky.“

I enjoyed reading some of the poems. The illustrations that go with the poems are beautiful. The messages that go with these poems are appropriate and insightful.

Mehso-so

Poetry and was made and illustrated in 1994. The book is about some of Emily Dickinson's poems over her lifetime. The poems that she writes about are about flowers, fields, the sea, animals, etc. Some her poetry is in rhyme and others are just plain words.
