A trusty and reliable Grisham read that had a healthy dose of corporate (governmental?) corruption. A slower burn compared to some of Grisham‘s other novels, but this is exactly what my end of school-term pea-brain needed. A great romp.

The ending is slightly disappointing but is also consistent with the behaviors of the characters, so not unsatisfactory. All in all, a really good read.

I‘m pretty sure at night when the lights are out my JG‘s multiply, convincing me there is no end to this stack. I really enjoyed this - it had The Firm vibes but this time the MC was bribed even before joining the firm so there were no surprises for Kyle about the lack of scruples to the large NYC law firm he was forced to work. I just sat back and read Kyles‘s way out.

I loved this legal thriller by John Grisham. I don‘t want to say much about the plot out of fear of spoiling it. So, to be vague: A new Yale law school grad is haunted by something from his past. Kind of reminded me of The Firm a little bit. #MountTBR

Pick of the day..

These books can never disappoint. I could have sworn this was a re-read but it may actually have been a first-time read for me, as I had no recollection of the plot whatsoever. Nevertheless, still a great read
