I only gave it an hour, but I have no interest in finishing it. The writing is beautiful, but I just can‘t seem to get into the story, or care about the characters. One more off my shelf for #BookSpinBingo, and #TheUnreadShelfProject.

Wow this book really surprised me. I enjoyed it a lot more than I expected. Strong female characters and a story with lots of heart. I highly recommend 👍

My Little Free Library was blessed with this box of books from Zach's Planet Project. I am thrilled with this assortment. Any suggestions on what to put out first?

I liked pieces of this book a lot. I was listening to it and had it on 1.25 speed so it went a bit faster. If reading the print, I probably would have quit rather than finishing. One thing I really disliked was how the relationship between Keegan and Lucy ended - I really liked his character and wished there was more of him.

On to my next audiobook 🎧 I loved another novel of hers and am hopefully this will be just as enjoyable. 🤞🏻

After finishing a couple of amazing books by Tana French, I'm just gonna have to bail on this for now. I'm about 50 pages in and it's just not doing it for me. Maybe I'll try it again later. Such a disappointment because I loved the Time Traveler's Wife.

The promise of beautiful, vivid writing and intriguing plot potential should have made this the perfect read. Unfortunately, The Lake of Dreams fell far from perfect and left this reader frustrated and disappointed.
