Super fun start to the next SVH miniseries! This one was much more light hearted and features Jessica falling for someone she can‘t have. It was a funny, fast read, although the age difference between Jess and her crush was a little cringey. Looking forward to the next one! 4 ⭐️

booksandsympathy You're making me nostalgic. I don't think I ever got this far in the series though. I read the twins series in middle school and inherited my older sister's Sweet Valley High books when I was in highschool. I loved them. 12mo
keys_on_fire @booksandsympathy I never have either! I read them at the same time of my life as you, but stopped when they numbered in the 60‘s. I started collecting them again after reading 12mo
booksandsympathy I'll have to read that book 12mo

I absolutely loved the 1st book in this SVH miniseries solely for the unintentional hilarity sprinkled throughout. Jessica runs into the man of her dreams on the beach, they share a kiss and he tells her he can never see her again. Meanwhile, Sue, a friend of the family, is staying with the Wakefields while they help her plan her wedding to — you guessed it — Jessica‘s mystery man Jeremy! The best part is when Jess talks Bruce Patman into going ⬇️

JenlovesJT47 On a date with her to a fancy restaurant so she can keep an eye on Sue and Jeremy at another table. Their love/mostly hate relationship is absolutely hilarious and this is the most I‘ve laughed at an SVH book in a long time. I‘ve never read this miniseries so I‘m looking forward to the next book. 4⭐️ #SweetValley #SVH #twins #nostalgia 👯 5y
