This book was super informative. From looking at the cover I didn‘t think it would be so educational but it truly was. This would be great to help kids learn about bugs and how they help our environment.

Ladybugs by Gail Gibbons is a piece of nonfiction. It was published in 2012. This book is all about ladybugs. It talks about their body parts, life cycle, purposes and environments. It gives so many scientific facts about ladybugs which are still simple enough for children to understand. It is all fact and no opinion which makes this a great accurate book. Kids would really love the illustrations.

This book was definitely great for younger children‘s classrooms. It would be a great science lesson book for the kids and it will teach them lots of interesting facts about ladybugs for them to use in nature projects

This is a great book that gives extended background information on the insect, the ladybug. Not only is there a good amount of information throughout this book, but there are also illustrations on every page which allows for the reader(s) to see all of the different types of bugs that may be related to the ladybug.
Aside from this, the book is very engaging, especially if one is covering this topic within their classroom or curriculum.

My favorite part about this book was the illustrations of the Ladybugs.

Ladybugs by Gail Gibbons is an amazing book about facts about ladybugs. It says that Ladybugs are a type of beetle. And they live on six of the seven continents. There are believed to be about 5,000 different kinds of ladybugs around the world. Shown throughout the book are descriptions of their physical characteristics, their four stages of development from egg to adult, and how they live. Ladybugs are also an important part of our environment.

A friend shared this with me when she read it. I‘m thinking ladybugs are actually leprechauns. Aye, must be it. 😂 #LitsyHumor

Ladybugs is a nonfiction book written by Gail Gibbons in 2012. This book is cool because it has very colorful, vibrant, detailed illustrations. However, it kind of distracts from the words on the pages. The images really makes the facts come to life throughout this book.

This quote is important because not only are ladybugs a beautiful insect, they‘re also extremely helpful to our environment and should be protected!

I think this breakdown is interesting because I didn‘t know there were this many types of ladybugs!!

Published 2012, this nonfiction book includes a story intertwined with facts about ladybugs! There are labels, diagrams, maps, life cycle break down, and more! This story talks all about ladybugs in life such as their makeup, their food, their predators, their home, the different types, and more! The author includes illustrations to show children the realistic features and factors in a ladybugs life!

I thought this part was super cute and a great addition to the book.

A really cute book that‘s engaging with great illustrations! Very informational, but tells it in a story-form. The pictures are inviting and fun. All I formation is given in a basic format, but makes it very easy to follow.
