Disclaimer: I listened to this audiobook while in a haze of sickness, sometimes drifting in and out -- not ideal. Still, it was a fun listen. There was lots of Southern charm, and Honeysuckle Hollow had everything from vampires to fairies. Super magical, and I'd say this first book was more about worldbuilding than mystery. I'd sometimes forget someone had been killed, which made the pacing feel off. Even so, it passed the time.

Buechersuechtling Yepp, for me dozing in and out of an audiobook but nevertheless being able to follow the story and telling what it‘s all about is reason enough to rate it “So-So”, too. 😂 5y

ShyBookOwl @CaitlinR Thanks! I actually started out as a knitter, but because of a chronic pain issue, it became too difficult to manipulate the needles. My grandmother convinced me to take up crochet. A few YouTube tutorials later, I was hooked 😋 I don't even miss knitting anymore. 5y
