WHY DID I READ THE EPILOGUE???

UGH so I had a couple minor problem with this book (see previous post 😂) but this was a really good book.
I just, I could not handle the epilogue.

This is driving me crazy.
When this particular character was first introduced, it was said her mother was always home.
Now it says she is never home.
How did the editor miss that? >_

Starting this now.
"When the voices in his head begin to make sense, high school senior Branson Kovac turns to the one friend he's still got... only to discover he's not really there."

I am not totally sure what to expect here, their website categorizes it as a thriller, but they also tagged it "domestic fiction," "women's fiction," and even "new adult," so that's odd.

We shall see.
