Mehso-so

A boy needs his mother, and this book needed his mother a bit more as well. The mother personality didn't really show till towards the ending, and that is unfortunate as the interaction between Norman and mother are the best parts.

Happy Halloween!! πŸ‘ΉπŸ˜±πŸ‘½ Spooky read and spaghetti!! Pretty excited for this one! Takes you into the Sanitarium that Norman Bates lived in before the sequel in which he goes on a killing spree. 2 decades he spent in there and now I get to know what happened! We also have crazy fog in my neck of the woods. Perfect ambiance. #happyhalloween #muchlove #oct31 #spookyreads #psycho #normanbates

Mehso-so

This is one I wish there was something between so-so and pan. This isn't a great book, but it fits into the type of writing like the original Psycho and Psycho 2 by Bloch. This is Norman in the psych ward after Psycho fighting the voice of his mother. As he gets better it turns out he has a TWIN BROTHER! When he finds this out, bodies start piling up. There are really gross scenes in this and are more brutal than they should be. 2-2.5⭐️

Now that I have had some heavy reading, it is time for a little trashy light lit. When I saw this on the shelf, I had to read it! The adventures of Norman Bates in the psychotic ward before the events in the pretty terrible Psycho 2.

CherylDeFranceschi That sounds like so much fun! 8y

NerdyRev @BarbaraTheBibliophage I will try to remember. It is pretty good so far and staying true to the feel of the originals. 8y

5 psychotic stars for this! I really flippin' enjoyed it. The characters are well written and I love that it's set in a sanitarium. Lovely gruesome murders, secrets, lies and tricksy people. Gotta love it! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
