In Portland, Maine for an overnight and just happened to find a used bookstore around the corner from the hotel. The lighting was terrible but still managed to find a few things. 😅

I‘m currently reading this 1930 oldie that has just been republished by #FurrowedMiddlebrow and #DeanStreetPress today.

Miss Mole has spent 20 years of her life as a companion to old women when she accepts a housekeeper position with a pompous minister and his needy children. I‘m liking Hannah Mole so far; she‘s cheekier and wiser than she lets on and I think she‘ll be turning this house around in no time!
