My sister was born February 24, 1971. She died of a brain tumor on June 25, 1976 after a long horrific battle. She loved books and had many Golden Books which I have in my library here. She was bed bound a lot and hospitalized much, so books became an important thing we could share.❤️

My only grandchild, my grandson Jackson Nathan was born on her birthday in 2014. 💙

Crazeedi @TheBookHippie sending my ❤💔❤ I was 3 when my 2 week old sister died from staff infection from hospital, I only remember looking in her crib. And I have lost a brother and sister as adults. They are part of my heart, as your sister is. So awesome your son was born on her birthday 4y

BarbaraBB What a sad story but with a bit of a happy ending. I can‘t imagine you being a grandmother when your sister was born in 1971! 4y

TheBookHippie @BarbaraBB he‘s 6 now!! My daughter 30. I can‘t believe I got old either 🤣. My brother was 6 months old when she died and has no memories. I‘m so grateful I was much older and have memories. 4y

TheBookHippie @BarbaraBB yes I was -although old to conservatives in my town 🤣 I was supposed to have a baby by 21 but did not and then I decided to have another in menopause for fun so my kids are 17.5 years apart ! Life is a grand adventure. FYI they told me at 12 I‘d never conceive,they were wrong. My son is 13. All of my friends are grandparents no one has kids at home I‘ve been actively parenting for decades. I‘m the oldest- I was born years before 1971. (edited) 4y
