Tryin‘a pin down my #24in48 TBR. It‘s mixed between work & DNFs at the moment. Usually, DNFs are related to the work TBR.

Today I learned that I need more books #setinasia..and by more I mean some. I don't have any on my shelves. When I thought about books I have read in the past that were set in Asia, The Ramayana was the first thing that popped in my head. It was one of my favorite reads in both my Humanities class and my English Seminar class.

Any suggestions to fill this gaping hole in my personal library?

pppooraikul Mahabharata is another Indian classic tale (and better than Ramayana, in my opinion). There's a very good retelling here. Check it out. 😉 8y
pppooraikul Or if you want more diversity, try Japanese lit. They're gonna surprise you with their awesomeness. (Authors namedropping: Haruki Murakami, Kazuo Ishiguro, Kanae Minato) Hope this help! 8y
