Meet Mia Macarooney, an ordinary eight-year-old who finds out she has an extraordinary super-secret in this first chapter book in the brand-new Mia Mayhem series! Mia Macarooney is a regular eight-year-old girl who finds out that shes A SUPERHERO! Her life literally goes from totally ordinary to totally super when shes invited to attend the afterschool Program for In-Training Superheroes a.k.a. THE PITS! And the crazy thing is, in a weird meant-to-be sort of way, all of this news somehow feels super right. Because all her life, Mia thought she was just super klutz...but it turns out, shes just SUPER! So now, its up to Mia to balance her regular everyday life and maintain her secret identity as she learns how to be the worlds newest superhero! Well that was cute.
Short illustrated chapter book about a girl who finds out she‘s a superhero when she receives an invitation to superhero school in the mail. There‘s a whole series of her adventures. I‘ve seen this on Book Outlet and I think I‘m going to have to grab a few copies for our little free library.

While my husband and I both had to work on and off during the holidays, we worked it out so the kids could be home for almost their whole break. They go back to daycare tomorrow and school on Thursday so I‘m trying to get us somewhat organized. I had my second grader round up her library books to go back and here‘s the pile of books she finished over break. She read way more than I did!

RadicalReader @MarriedtoMrT congratulations to raising ravenous readers. Such a remarkable feat to see their accomplishments no greater joy than to get excitement out of the simple things in life and the lovely library is always free 5y
Tamra My kids love those! The library is such a savings when they run thru books (esp. graphic novels) at this age! 5y
Texreader That‘s fantastic!!! 5y
