Pickpick

Snow storm means I finished book 4 of Michael Vey. My 14 yo loves this series and has asked me to read it so he can talk about it with me. I am enjoying it. Action, Adventure, Friendship, Tiny bit of Romance as teens with special powers save the world.

Texreader Oooh a possible series for my son? He‘s 12 in a few days. What is Book one? 6y
Chrissyreadit @Texreader Michael Vey series- there is violence. I was surprised by some of it. I think it is a fast paced story of good vs evil and friendship and acceptance, and the violence did not bother me or my son, but I know sometimes people are squeamish. My son was 12 when he started the series. The final book came out last fall- so I do recommend for a middle school boy! 6y
Texreader @Chrissyreadit Thank you! I‘m going to look into it for him. Sounds perfect. 6y
Chrissyreadit @Texreader did he read The Rangers Apprentice series? I met the author at a book event a few years ago and bought it just because but it is still a favorite for my boy- and one he always recommends. 6y
Texreader @Chrissyreadit no but that sounds good too!! Thanks so much! 6y
