The books had previously had one main storyline with maybe another minor storyline or two. There had to be at least seven storylines going on at the same time that the author was trying to interweave. It was a little much, and Margo is CREEPY!

Oh, the drama! Liz has been arrested for involuntary manslaughter for Sam‘s death in the car crash, but she can‘t remember anything. Jess is being sociopathic and putting the moves on Todd to get back at Liz. Todd is a douchecanoe and let‘s her, all the while lamenting to himself how much he misses Liz. Then talk to her, dammit! Margo continues her trek to California, racking up 2 more bodies along the way. On to book 3 in the miniseries! 2.5⭐️
