It‘s a lot less blue than I was anticipating - but it turned out that it was the favourite colour of the person I made it for - so it all worked out!!

This is a chocolate cake (made with gluten free flour) with butter cream icing - which I like to dye a variety of colours - this pale shade is pretty tame for me 🤪

This was a really fun and funny book about a little girl who smelled the cake .... wanted the cake .... ate the cake .... regretted eating the cake .... who hasn't been there?! Then to make it up to her mum she bakes a new one - and there's even a recipe included so you can make your own! A great read with lots of giggles.
