"Do You Like Brahms?" is the title translation and the question which gives life to a love story. A powerful voice painting a heart-breaking dilemma: is a 39-year old woman still young enough to let herself passionately loved by a much younger man or is she too old and should stay in a more stable but hurtful relationship with a partner her age?

Absolutely stunning voice. This author handles 3rd person omniscient so effortlessly and there are lines in this book that will stay with me forever.
“I want to scream from the rooftops: I‘m frightened. I‘m frightened- love me!â€
The characters are well structured, flawed but immensely lovable. A quick paced and heartbreaking plot. All vividly set in Paris (mostly). 5 out of 5 on GR
