If you are interested in something off the beaten path this fall, I recommend these poetry anthologies co-edited by Michelle Mitchell-Foust & Tony Barnstone. Generous in scope (tagged spans Psalm 18 to Kim Addonizio, while Monster Verse spans Ancient Greeks to Patricia Smith) & surprising with the selections. merelybookish @vivastory That's great! I read a lot of poetry in August. Tried doing the Sealey Challenge where you read a book of poetry/day. I knew I wouldn't manage 31 days but was still fun to read poetry with that kind of intensity. I usually just dip in and skim about. So it was fun to read entire collections from start to finish. 2y
