Mehso-so

This is a cute middle grades novel about determination and loss. Tessa is dealing with the grief of losing her grandfather, social pressure, and her grandmother's declining health. She believes finding the mythical barbegazi that her grandfather told stories of may help, but no one in her town believes they exist. I love the description in the book and the book within a book. I also loved Tessa's determination. #24in48
