This is a very short and incomplete story about King Arthur but more about a knight and a former nun caught up in Arthur‘s war against Mordred, Arthur‘s nephew. As always with this author, the characters are well developed. But the story is such a snippet I‘m not sure why she didn‘t combine the series. Good but could have been better as a complete story.

Texreader @GingerAntics I finished about 3 am this morning. I need to buy the next set. 6y
GingerAntics I‘m thinking I‘m waiting until I have the $8.99 to buy the whole thing. I was wondering why she didn‘t just Male this a book with all the short stories as one novel. Good story, but this short story set up seems a bit odd. That‘s really my only complaint. 6y
Texreader @GingerAntics Exactly. At least the first one was free 6y
GingerAntics Yeah. It definitely got me hooked, but I want the whole thing at once. These are two short and don‘t really have conclusions. I feel like it would be better to approach the “books” as parts of a novel instead of individual stories. I‘ll have to look at the last pendragon series as well. If it‘s similar I‘ll get the whole series in one volume of that as well. 6y

When they said short story, they weren‘t kidding. 6 chapters and it was done. Bing, bang, boom. Of course, Woodbury has made me love her characters in that time frame, so with absolutely ZERO questions answered from the beginning, I‘m ready for the next one. If nothing else, I need to know if they can stop it.

Can‘t wait to see what @Texreader thinks of this one.

Texreader I‘m not sure why I‘m going so slow through this very short work. It‘s good writing and all... Maybe lots of stress at work and horrible insomnia at home are making my head just pound... 6y
GingerAntics @texreader I‘ve had such a day at work today that if I wasn‘t done I‘d wouldn‘t be finished tonight either. I still have to get my writing exercise in for the day and I‘m just exhausted. 6y

@Texreader I was looking for more books by Sarah Woodbury and found this one for free, too. It‘s another series set in Wales and it‘s the first book again. I‘m kind of hoping it will have Gareth and Gwen in it, but I‘m thinking it probably doesn‘t. Still, it could be good if the Gareth and Gwen series is any indication.

GingerAntics Wait wait wait, you can get the complete series (5 books) for a whopping $8.99. This needs to happen. lol @Texreader 6y
Texreader Awesome!! 6y
GingerAntics @Texreader I know!!! The whole series for one low price if we like the free first book!!! What is not to love? 6y

GingerAntics @Texreader I‘m also pretty sure one of her three sons is named after Gareth, and another of them is named after another character I can‘t name until you read the first chapter of book 10. 😏 6y
Texreader @GingerAntics I‘m loving your messages. Please don‘t stop. Work is crazy this week and next and I taught a class at the law school tonight. So I‘m very stretched. I hope to catch up as soon as I can. 6y
GingerAntics @Texreader 🤣🤣🤣 I must give good commentary because you‘re not the first person to say that. 😂 I hope work calms down soon so you can return to the “happy” land of medieval Wales!!! lol 6y
GingerAntics @Texreader crazy day last two days at work (aren‘t we a pair), but I promise commentary will commence either tonight or tomorrow. 6y
