Strong art and design undone by slapdash worldbuilding, a relentless pace, and a boring bad guy. Great use of color, but not much else to recommend it.

I brought a lot of comics on my family trip cause I knew they are all over the place and it would be easier to focus. This was super entertaining and I liked the art a lot. I put a hold on the next two volumes at my library!

Doctor Strange is the only person standing between us and the forces of darkness. But at what costs to him and has he been paying his tab? This was really interesting and I can't wait to read more in this series.

I love this by Skottie Young, the author of "I hate Fairyland" in the back of this volume. Fun!

I've been getting back into reading graphic novels. Currently starting the new Doctor Strange series, written by Jason Aaron and illustrated by Chris Bachalo. The story is just as gorgeous as the artwork! 🖌📚

I've seen the movie, and I've even read a Doctor Strange novel. But this is the first comic I've read featuring the Sorcerer Supreme, and I loved it! So creepy and weird.

Good starter to a new take on Doctor Strange. Felt like something was missing; some backstory? Heft, maybe? Worth checking out, though.

This was good! I didn't love it as much as some other Doctor Strange comics I've read (e.g., The Oath) but I still enjoyed it enough to rate it a pick. It's enjoyable but it raises more questions than it answers in a way that was more frustrating than mysterious for me. Nonetheless I do want to continue to read this arc.

Picked this up on a whine at the library. Turned out to be a fun read. Lots of magical weirdness, and Dr. Strange is a really fun character in this.

I have never met Doctor Strange before now. Everything is weird but I am pleased to have made his acquaintance!
